Curiosity has shaped my life and my work. As a young man, I wanted to know what lay beyond the next mountain. The same impulse brings me into the studio: I follow a subject or a process because I need to discover where it leads.
 

I do not work within a fixed style. A seascape can require several studies and revisions before I undertake the full painting. A pinhole photograph begins with building the camera; a clay monoprint asks me to work through the physical transfer of color and form. In abstraction, I build the image through color, rhythm, and spatial tension. Each direction is chosen deliberately and pursued with discipline.
 

La Audacia del Color is my current body of work. Here, color and movement lead, while each mark becomes a decision about balance, energy, and space. I cannot predict which direction will call to me next. What remains constant is the need to explore and the discipline to see each work through.
